Pediatric Speech / Language Pathologist
A Step Ahead is recruiting a fun-loving Speech and Language Pathologist to join our growing team of early support for infants and toddlers providers. Work with infants and toddlers and their caregivers in the home environment to improve speech, language, and feeding skills. Servicing the Bethel, Franklin Pierce, Puyallup, Orting Eatonville & Tacoma School Districts, we offer a flexible and positive working environment, where you'll be part of a dynamic, committed multidisciplinary staff. Duties include: Assessment and evaluation, development of treatment plans and home programs, assisting in the development of Individual Family Service Plans, participation in multidisciplinary planning and teams.
Minimum Requirements
Will Consider both ASHA certified, and Clinical Fellow for this position
Experience with children under the age of 5 and a wide range of diagnoses including: Autism, genetic disorders, medically fragile, and motor-speech disorders, strongly preferred
Valid Washington Drivers License & Current Auto Insurance
Current First Aid/CPR
Must Pass Pre-Employment Background Check

This is a salaried position that includes: paid time off after 6 month orientation period. Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Simple IRA contributions matched after one year. Cell Phone Allowance. Mileage Reimbursement. Part-Time position would be considered for the right candidate.
